Mr. Ring is a kind and approchable person. Whenever you need help he will be there for you. However, he won't give the mark you deserve despite all the studying you've done.

He is a really great teacher, He is helpfull and very funny. His tests are very easy, if you go to his classes u'll pass for sure because he doesn't use the textbook very often. He helps you if you go to see him.

Hard? Are you serious? I've never seen such an easier class! I took Critical Thinking with him. His tests are practically similar to his assignments. Do your homework, and ace the tests! He gives homeworks once in a while and they never take too long to do, 30 minutes max. If your class is in the Pepsi Forum, he let's you come late and end class early most of the time. Can be intimidating sometimes, but only to students who behaves badly.

These reviews are very misconceiving. He is an intimidating man, however if you listen in class and do the little assignments it is VERY tolerable. Hardly any work - 3 tests the whole semester in crit

Maybe everyone's a bit too sensitive. Yes, he is picky about wording, but it is vital for Philosophy. Yes, he pokes fun at people, but it is harmless. It is not hard to do well. Good teacher.
