He is the best teacher i ever had, he made us think instead of throwing the answer at you, when we discussed any political matter, he would show us both sides of the story and make our own minds over it.

Look, he's a social teacher. This is the epitome of bird course in high school, and he is a great teacher for that. He can talk about a news story for half the class 3 times in a week, so it's a great time to do your homework. While it's an easy class, he marks surprisingly hard for written assignments in social 30, I never got above 71 with him in my in class written assignments, yet on the diploma I got a 78 with zero studying. All in all, interesting guy for a mandatory bird course.

Not a good teacher. I learn't nothing in his class. I can't believe he has been teaching for over 20 years and he still doesn't know what he's doing.

ok, gerun is a good guy hes getting bad press here. but hes opinionated, and is kind of enveloped in them. which.. is sort of contradictory considering he teaches social studies.

He actually bluntly told our class that our opinions were wrong. Then he lectured us about what he believed was right. And trust me, he definitely wasn't joking.

Nice and fun guy, but his tests consist of random questions not covered by the curriculum. A mixed bag. I enjoyed his class, but my marks suffered a little.

Those who do not like Mr. Gerun clearly should not be in Social AP. Mr. Gerun is a great teacher and you can learn a lot from him if you are willing to listen.

The trick with Gerun is to realize that when he challenges your opinions (and he will) he is only trying to get you to defend yourself. Be careful.

The only way to get good marks is to write tests using his opinions. Spends all class lecturing about politics, then yells when you got nothing done.
