Horrible experience! On the surface, she looks like a hard working teacher, but all she cares about herself and wining the band festival...
unfortunately a horrible experience. Don't take band if you are late immersion. she takes favorites for sure
shes chill, super fun and probably the best teacher there
She is a good teacher but she is super strict, and gets mad sometimes. Other than that, she's an awesome teacher
Throughout my 3 years at Branton she left a great impression on me, both in learning music and life in general. I was glad to have a great teacher in my life every other day for 3 years.
She's really nice is you treat her with respect and she doesn't pick on you if you make a mistake as long as you behave well and she's super funny.
Mrs. Baird is a great teacher to have if you are willing to put in the effort to succeed in band. She has high standards regarding student behavior, but it seems fair. If you treat her with respect, you'll be okay. She can be pretty funny, and she explains theory rather well. She wants students to do well. I look forward to band class when I have it that day.
I think that Mrs. Baird is a very nice teacher. Though she is sometimes pretty strict her sense of humor and knowledge is awesome!
DONT TAKE BAND IF YOUR IN LATE- IMMERSION. You will NEVER have to practice
terrible teacher. Only cares about being the best teacher
I LOVE HER, BUT HATE HER CLASS!
Mrs.Baird is super nice and is really sweet to you! But I didn't like her band class. She expects you to practice every night and gives you a really hard times if you don't, cause trust me she will find out. And also she bases band more off the music festival competition than learning how to play your instrument. She can get really stressed and angry too.
she's not the best teacher. she takes sides and has favorites and can get mad very easily
Mrs.Baird is the best band teacher ever she is really funny and can be in a bad mood at times but she makes up for by buying us huge donuts haha she taught me to play the flute very well lol Branton is very lucky to have her!!!!!!!! <3 <3
Let me just tell you I was in her band class all throughout my junior high years and she made quite a good impression on me. Even several years later I still remember how kind, fun, and involving she was with all of my classmates and myself.
one of the best teachers for music ever, she is a very fun and helpful teacher
I hate her. She freaks out over nothing and she always gets mad, and lets it out on her students. She made me hate band, and I will never take it again because of her. She ruined a lot for me and now she makes me want to leave the school even more than I already do. I do not recommend taking band, ever.
OMGOMG SHE IS AWESOME!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!
Oh how I love Ms Baird! A lot of students think she is too strict, but in reality they're jut lazy, she gives lots of time to do assignments and practice for play tests, it's entirely fair. I've always loved music and I love it even more now that she's broadened my ability so much!
Band and Jazz band were probably among my best experiences in Jr. High. Ms. Baird was a fantastic teacher and to say I learned a great deal from her would be an understatement. I'm currently a principle horn in a University Orchestra and I have her to thank in part for it.
Mrs Baird is a fine teacher and I really enjoy her classes but if she were a bit more helpful and easygoing (with tests and papers) I would enjoy her classes much more.
Ms.Baird has like 250 students each year. If you had that many students you wouldn't have patience for students who don't keep up with the group either. The only reason people with no experience are s
so nice! the best teacher ever! she tries so hard to teach you band and to make class fun for you, cuz the rest of the time youre playing your instrument should be when youre PRACTICING! we love you!
Mrs.Baird is overall an amazing band teacher- you learn really well and the only reason you wouldn't be amazing at your instrument is if you're one of those stupid kids who doesn't practice and thinks
Mrs. Baird is 100000000 times better than my old band teacher. She got the grade sevens and eights to first place in Kiwanis this year. Amazing! And she does it all herself. Really fantastic teacher!!
if you cant play your instrument very well she hates you and will fail you
You fools, when I was there she won best conductor award. You kids are lucky to have her
As long as she's in a good mood, she's really cool and funny. But when she is in a bad mood, she is really scary. Mrs. Baird is 100 times better than my old band teacher.
Ms. Baird is pretty chill. She let's us go into the band room before school and play guitar, bass and drums. She does a great job of mananging our enormous band program. Yeh, it's pretty sweet.
She's funny and nice but can get in a bad mood at times...
She's yelles at her students before concerts, and is unforgiving and harsh, and expects all to be gifted musicians, and will pick on her students
The only students who like her are the one's that havn't had other band teachers. She sucks, dosn't conduct well, and does expect everyone to have musical background and is really unforgiving
I like her commitment to our huge band program and how she can stay fair to everyone without playing favourites. All in all, a very fair teacher, although she can get on your case if you quit band.
Not flexible at all. she's really unfair. She really didn't teach me how to play the flute. i had to learn by myself.
not good at teaching theory. but I already know it so it dosnt matter for me
I don't like the unflexability she has around other activities that overlap with band practice.
