Mr. Jones is a very hard marker and includes a lot of new informtion on tests that he has never taught. he expects you to remember previous knowledge from years ago and does not go through a lot of things. however, very approachable and helpful when you ask.
Unfair tests, really hard marker, goes really fast as if everything is review- makes you fall behind, skips entire parts of unit and doesn't tell you it will be on the test- but it will be on the test. Insists all the teachers are like him, but they aren't. You're expected to learn everything yourself, even though he's the teacher, and therefore his job is to teach. Expects you to spend all your time studying for his class, as if there aren't 7 other courses on your timetable.
Absolutely horrible teacher. Gives pop quiz on the first class of the year and will mark you wrong because his way of doing some things is different from the textbook and every other teacher in the science department. Always makes mistakes on the board which have to be corrected by students. Overall a hard teacher and hard marker and very confusing!!
Knowledgable teacher but tests are extremely hard and he skips a lot of things that you have to know for tests. Overall hard marker as well who teaches alright.
Had him for grade 9 science. Very smart and knowledgeable guy, especially with chemistry. He's also very kind and approachable, always available for help outside of class. His tests are fairly difficult but reasonable. Overall Jones is a very good teacher and I would recommend him.
He's alright. I had him for his first year at NT so I'm not sure if he's improved since then (I hope he has). He was very friendly, and he attempted to make his lessons clear (but sometimes they really weren't). I personally don't think he's very smart, but at least he tries. He almost always added up my test marks wrong, and there was often many mistakes for the scantron answers (grade 9 science by the way). But he's probably the best chem teacher at NT in 2015 (him, O'Connell, and Markovski)
unfair, some questions on the test are missing a fact or a number. weird guy
