He is a very nice person; cares a lot about his students, ready to help whenever you want, he hates when people talk while he's teaching, but PLEASE pay attention in his class, and just do all the the problems (from his study guide document) and you'll do great because his tests are very similar to the documents he sends, he likes the lab reports to be perfect so work hard on them and he'll give you a 100, his grading is very fair and you can even change your mark if you talked to him.

Really nice teacher who cares about his students. His explainations are clear and his exams are easy if you have done all the exercises. However, sometimes, he can a bit disorganized. I recommend him.

He does not explain well, wastes time explaining what he did last class and gives speeches on how you should think of changing programs....wow very encouraging. I personally would never take him again he is extremely discouraging and a very hard grader. His notes are all over the place and I would not even consider them notes. He is extremely disorganized and careless. He worries about the class average but fails to change his ways to help us improve. He is really unfair! Never take him!

Overall, he is a very nice man who does worry about his students marks and understanding of the course. However, his notes are messy and scattered. Also, the examples provided are rarely the same or similar to those present on the test. In addition, his grading style is absolutely terrible. I showed up for a test, wrote the entire thing, and got a 0. I understand that my answers were not correct, however I have NEVER received a 0 for a completed test until this class. Unfair and unreasonable.

You have to do what he assigns and you will be fine. Only lazy and irresponsible kids failed with him other then that you will get at least an 80.

His explanations are clear and his exams are not too hard if you work on a regular basis and do all the exercices he gives. He want his students to suceed so if you have him keep him! He'll be very helpful and prepare you for you next physics course.

his notes are disorganized, but just make sure to do all his practice problems and ask questions, labs are really easy, exams are not quite fairly graded but you can easily negotiate to boost your mark, you don't have to buy the textbook so thats an upside

He's nice, but he will not prepare you for the common final at all. From the beginning- middle of the semester i found him to be great, until it came to the final topic. Near the end, he started missing class and trying to use useless substitutes to teach whatever was left. This happened 4 times in the last month. And when he would be there, he would not even try to effectively explain it. Class avg for the final test was in the 40's - THAT BAD. 90's students avgs dropped to high 70's. Avoid.

Good teacher, tests are from the problems we do in class, and no webworks are assigned. He has a pretty sloppy handwriting though. And you'll have a couple in class quizzes. Other than that he frees up half an hour before the end of class for questions.

He's a good teacher from what I can tell so far. He gives examples and good theory only a little messy at times. Does not use the book at all but uses his own questions and posts a lot of stuff on omnivox. He's very kind and will always help you with whatever. He's also really nice and cares about you and your success. I would definitely recommend him.

If you can teach yourself physics, take him. The class average will be low and your mark will be very high (Amazing R-Score). Labs are very easy and he is such an easy marker, he puts either an A or a B, depending honestly how he feels looking at your lab. His tests are exactly like the ones he posts on Omnivox, so pretty much just do all the online tests and teach yourself by cross-referencing the solutions and you will get an amazing mark. My R-Score with him was 37.390. I had him for mechanic

His classes are very repetitive and notes can be very messy. He's nice and wants to help you understand the topic. Just remember to do all the problems he posts on omnivox because most likely similar questions will be on the class test. He also gives pop quizzes to test your knowledge on topic. Labs aren't that hard. Easy marker.

so basically this is his teachn method for mech. 1)in class he'll give u a couple of formulas and blabber for te rest of class 2)put up tons of old tests and problems for each topic with detailed solutions on omnivox. if ur the type of person who only needs prblms and solutions to learn then hes perfect bcuz u dont even need to go 2class cuz everything is online (cept for ~5 labs) BUT if u need notes etc then dont take him. & he h8s wen u tlk while he is. n if u come l8 4labs he wont let u in

I really had a positive learning experience from him. He does not assign webwork. However, he assigns numbers in the book and gives you previous class tests with dedtailed solutions. His tests are similar to the exercises viewed in class. If you understand those and make sure to understand the material covered in class and ask questions, you will do very well.
