she teaches everything from the textbook but her tests are really hard if you don't study well enough. she puts answers up to the homework daily but her class is mostly self taught. shes nice, fun and laid back for sureee. never troubled me to do my homework or assignments or come on time but i still passed her class easy.
Teaching style is great. Lessons are straight to the point and never bore you. Willing to explain anything if you ask. Wish she had taken a bit more material from outside the textbook, but overall fantastic and engaging teacher!
Ms. Havaris is fantastic...anyone that says anything bad is just not a good student...she offers help everyday at lunch, you just go find her in math office...I have her for grade 11 math and hope I get her again in grade 12. Everyone I know that has had her loves her.
She is unable to answer the questions she provides for homework. She provides us with concepts and questions we never covered on the texts and the final exam. She never offered extra help. Havaris was actually taught how to do one of the lessons by a student during the lesson. Her lessons flew by and at the end I had no recollection of what I've "learned". I do not understand why her career is teaching. On the bright side, she's nice. That being said, I"m glad to be out of her class.
Makes hard stuffs clear. Not easy not hard very fair. Don't know bout past ratings maybe she new but luv how she teach.
AWESOME teacher! But I like her better for math than science.
i miss her. although i didn't do too well in her class. great teacher over all
she teaches only like 10 minutes everyday, and rarely takes up difficult homework questions, all she says is that it won't be on the test. THe tests are easy but u r not gonna learn any advanced stuffs in her class.
she is a really really good teacher!!!! She teaches sooooo well!!!! She always explain very detailly,so I have never had problems in homework!!!!!!
really cool teacher! sometimes her way of explaining things aren't the greatest but she's very understanding and always willing to help. a little too lenient and doesn't motivate you to work hard but she bumps up marks!
I like Ms. Havaris! She's really nice and she explains well when shes teaching. all her notes are organized and clear and her tests are not out of nowhere, you always know what to expect.
she is my math teacher .she is so nice she has such a good relationship with students!!she is also so cool u can finis h ur hw fast and do other stuff !!!!!she is a good teacher
shes really nice and helpful just boring sometimes..but cool teacher overalL!
you know at the beginning of the semester i hated her but now tht the sem ended im gonna reallyy miss her she was so helpfull she spent 2.5 hours reviewing with me very helpful!
I think that Ms.Havaris really cares about her students. She offers her lunch hours for extra help. Her lessons are really helpful for the tests.
you are screwed, very screwed. she doesn't teach at all. beware of the exams cause you won't know a thing.
To8/23/05:she occasionally can't answer a question, but what I experienced was it would have been a question that was not assigned and would think about it and get back to me
its funny how i asked her hwo to do a question from the supplement and she said she didnt know how to do it and told me to ask eisen
some of her lessons are extremely long- depends on the unit -spends the time to explain difficult topics but when easy assigns textbook work-nothing wrong with that
She just throws stuff on the overhead and she just do her stuff for 10 mins and u do textbook work
Love her science class. If anyone gets "screwed over" its their own fault
Nice lady... unfortunatly nice isn't the only thing you look for in a teacher. She spelled "eraser" wrong the first day of school... things went downhill from there. Can't teach.
She relates to her students, also she's the kind of teacher that wants to help you but you have to go to her. Easy marker btw
Honestly,I have to say she's not that clear, but she's definitely NICE and EASY. She loves to help students, maybe she just doesn't know how...
she's a good teacher, she teachers for like 10 mins, and then your free to go. And if people think she should help more, then when she is done teaching, go ask
greatest science class ever -she's understanding clear and fun
please STOP the favouritism. It's too obvious. And I mean c'mon! The marks you gave were TOTALLY unreasonable. Try to be more fair...
let's say, to prove A=B. This math teacher will say: if A=B (students ask why), then assume A=B (students ask why), finally let A=B (all students faint) Not j/k
very nice, understanding and friendly. i had her for finite and it was the best math course i've taken so far lol
I think she can't teach- quit sitting down on your desk and doing your own thing. She needs to put on a smile. She needs to relate to the students.
she teaches well in math, i think she's good, just sometimes makes mistakes.
