Mme. Brown might be the most underrated teacher at PMSS. She's a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person and I probably wouldn't have graduated if it wasn't for her guidance. Most people that complain about her are people who a) slacked off in class or b) never payed attention to her lessons. She cracks jokes that aren't too over the top. She's also great help one on one.
I don't like her as a teacher and not a lot as a person. Her worksheets are pretty stupid, there are a bunch of different ways she could use to engage us more but I don't think she's changed her method of teaching since she started. Rarely gives us notes regarding to the lesson, it's usually just an explanation of the chapter then a worksheet/questions. She does have good points though, she's usually understanding and tries to relate some topics in the lesson with something so we understand.
I had her for many years and had known her since a very young girl, because being in French immersion you grow up with certain teachers. She was very helpful, sympathetic to outside school stress, funny, relaxed... basically like a best friend in teacher form that simplified everything into a way you could understand.
I don't know how I graduated but I know if I didn't have her as my teacher in 9/10/11 I wouldn't have graduated
One of the worst teachers at Pitt. She's rude and basically makes fun of you for asking for help. Spends a lot of time talking about her vacations. She can be funny but not very helpful. Doesn't really write notes on the board for students to write down.
She's the best <3 She's so nice, and sometimes lets kids look at tests if they show up to early tutorials. She's really funny and never makes kids feel stupid.
After having Mme for FSL12 and then taking first year uni. French, I could not have been more prepared. She is so helpful and will teach you what you need in a fun way-she even helped me with uni work
Awesome teacher! Every day you go into her class is fun, you don't get tons of homework, and you can talk to her about anything! She is the reason I took French 12 and I love it!
I had Madame Brown for 4 straight years at Pitt. I felt she was an amazing and even inspiring teacher. She was the only teacher for whom I attended tutorials because she never made me feel stupid. She also took a group to France. She's the reason I gradded. Never would've made it without Mme. Brown.
Mme Brown is one of the best teachers in the school. She's funny and nice. She's so cool!
Mme Brown rocks! Best French teacher ever! She is so much fun and she bakes cookies for her tutorials!
It's impossible not to love Mme.Brown :)
French 12 ruled..
Madame is hands down one of the best teachers. She'll respect you if you respect her. You'll learn a lot and have fun doing it.
Mme. Brown is GREAT!!! She's funny and she gets involved with other activities throughout the school

Good teacher. Lots of fun in her class (unless she doesn't like you).
She's mean!! everyone else is blinded by her!! she is mean to the select few.
Mme. Brown is a very good french teacher. In our french department there aren't too many great teachers, but she is one of them. She loves what she does and you can tell by the way she treats her students. I'm very happy that she teaches at my school.
