Had him in 1981. Best of a good run of English teachers in high school. He seemed like a bit of a tyrant but now that I'm older I understand many of the things he was banging on about as realities of being human. His word by word dissection of Hamlet finally got me to appreciate Shakespeare. I didn't get interested in trying at English until his class. He knew I had challenges and treated me sort of like a Tarzan/savage student. The class was a lot of fun.
Best English teacher you can ask for! Sad to see him retire!
the most intellegent english teacher i have ever been taught by
He was great he marks on effort and understands your goals.I enjoyed every class i had with him and it take awhile to understand his teaching approach but its work it, he never reads notes he always teaches of memory
Best English teacher I've ever had! I can't believe that he knows the Illiad and the Odyssey by memory. It realy impressed me how he pushed us to be as much as he knew he could be.
eeeek should try to get a job teaching at a university as a professor, but probably is not smart enough. if you wanna watch someone scream and carry on this is the class for you, if you wanna get smarter avoid at all costs.
this teacher does not only make classes interesting due to his intelligence and funny jokes.. but he's a good teacher! FULLER FOR LIFE!
fuller, i duno man heard your a joy for a teacher, well not really but thats fine, im glad to just be in your tgg, but seriously lay off the jokes. they arnt funny
We wrote a total of two exams including the final. The first "exam" wasn't much of an exam at all! There were no questions, only "prompts." Es-say? We never wrote an essay in his class. Now that I think about it, what did we do in his class? Oh yeah, we sat there and got yelled at while he told us bad puns. He's too anti-Margaret Atwood too. I don't know how he can call himself a Candian English teacher and not like Margaret Atwood. He brought that bias into his class too.
Put down students a lot made you feel stupid when you asked questions. Seemed like a disgruntled teacher who wishes he was a professor. Knows what he’s teachi
