He single handedly ruined math for me. He was rude, belligerent, and did not make you feel welcome to ask questions at all.
He's a decent teacher but he is a straight up weird guy
actually pay attention in class and do your work... that's what school is for. and if you're willing to put the effort in so is he. He's an amazing teacher.
best math teacher ever! he's funny but gets straight to the point
calls students useless, and yells while trying to teach. i did not enjoy his class, or his teaching techniques.
he is the best math teacher i have ever had in my life. i hated math before i had him as a teacher. sure he's tough but it makes you do your homework so you don't look stupid in class. yay mr. pyke!
in the classroom he is tough, but one of the best math teachers you will ever have. you definitley learn alot with him. However out of class he is an incredibley proper, kind, helpful and great person
Really funny, but yeah, you're screwed if you don't know the answer. But it's still funny though. That's why you're supposed to do your homework and study!
Makes math class really fun, he does pick on you, but laugh with him and work hard so you can get his answers and you'll be just fine. Very funny too!
Good teacher but when he picks on you it can really make you feel bad especially if you're slow at math.
really good teacher...but when he decides he's going to pick on you watchh out...but its so funny when it's not you..neverr laughed so hard in math before
this teacher is insane!!! (in a good way) ive never laughed so hard in math class. seriously, if u have any interest in math and know at all what u are doing u want to be in this class. if u are a slow learner maybe not. he moves quickly and u rlly have to pay attention...it sucks to miss a class. yea so pretty much he picks someone each class to pick on and the rest of the class laughs...its hilarious. everything he does and says is soo animated. even the bad things. hard test! (doesn't check homewrok
hes kinda funny but has favourites - therefore, he makes people feel bad
He's mean and he picks on people. And his obsession with the 45 degree angle staple is ridiculous. It's not fair that we get 2 marks off because of that.
I've had Pyke 6 years ago, & based on current ratings, it sounds like he hasn't changed at all. 1 thing I must warn all you guys who have/will have him is that he likes to pick on people, esp. if he knows u know your stuff really well, so BEWARE.
MR PYKE = The BEST Really good at what he does. Hammered in alot of math concepts into my head that I still remember and can teach the kids that I tutor!
Mr. Pyke is a good teacher for those who like math. Period. if you dont like math, your just screwed. I had him last year, it was the worst class ever. I lived in fear of day 2.
Mr. Pyke is the most amazing teacher i've ever had...literally. He makes you apply yourself and works hard to allow you to succeed.
it's wonderful not to be completely bored in math class, though was still slow at times. great teacher
funny teacher, very good at math(obviously) he wakes me up in the mornings and thats what i need, i really do enjoy your class even though i hate math
I only passed because he pushed me hard. Loved all his sayings "This is the real meat and potatoes" or "Enough of these Mickey Mouse scratches" LoL, Hilarious!
marks off for not stapling on a 45 degree angle?!?!? would u like me to get out the protractor to measure just to be sure?
very willing to help students who need the extra time. however, a bit too nutty about insignificant things (2 marks off for not having a 45 degree staple???)
The easy ratings are from people who get their extra marks from the subjective communication section of tests. This is math?
he's a really great teacher. he keeps you doing stuff all the time so you can never be fooling around and you understand everything
A very good teacher. Do you're homework regularly and he'll always help you out if he can.
I love Mr.Pyke. He really tries to help you whenever you need it and he's just so into math it's scary!
Yells every single thing until I go deaf... and staples on a 45 degree angle?!?!
Mr. Pyke convinced me never to sit straight ahead again.
