A very fun class with a rather laid back teacher. He is not skilled in math by nature, but rather from a lot of practice. This means he is very good at explaining to students who don't understand math very well, but can't necessarily go to in depth about the why.

He's a really good teacher and is very clear in teaching math. He has a slightly sarcastic sense of humor and adds it into his math explanations and stuff. He doesn't "baby" you so if you need help then go ask hes very helpful if you ask for it. He seems a bit scary so is a bit hard to approach but is actually very nice and he knows his math stuff. Ive learned more from him than from a orovate tutor. Overall Mr. Beaton is pretty great

A good teacher, who doesn't really care what you do in class, as long as you do well in the test. He will not help you, and he will not make things easier for you if you do not approach him and ask for help. But he is knowledgeable, and knows how to teach. If you are either really good at math, or a very self motivated student you will do well in his class. Also, homework is optional which is a nice plus :)

Beaton is very popular, but he is absolutely incompetent as a math teacher. He constantly makes mistakes, and is often corrected by students. He is eminently suitable as a PE teacher; but he cannot te

awesome math classes. i look forward to his lessons, and tests are usually ok. should give more time for quizzes, though. if you ask for more time he'll give you more but gets impatient fast.

Mr. Beaton is THE BEST! I mean, he's not easy but hes very fair. Think about it: he never puts hard questions on test. He teaches GREAT! Math is a difficult subject so I love how he "dumbs" down math.

I hate him...He gives us two examples or so, doesnt give us time to do them, writes them out without even explaining and then expects us to be able to do the math really fast and 100% correctly .... not my favourite teacher
