Ms. Gray is nice if you're nice to her. She didn't like me so much at the start (I kept getting 70% on my essays) but after I talked with her more often, she became a very pleasant teacher. Oh, and my essay marks went up to about 90%. Despite her niceness her class is basically useless in grade 12, so you can skip and still do well. Essay structure very strange. Mini squabbles with Jesse are entertaining.

As a teacher, she needs to stop. She obviously pick favorites. If you're white, you'll do good, if you're a female, even better. If her impression of you is of a stupid person, she will always treat you like so. Her "proven" methods, only proves that if you use it in post-2ndary; you're fracked. Another thing, she will always give you the same marks over and over, a friend of mine copied off a girl who gets good marks in essay, word for word, yet he got a lower marks than her. Favoritism.

She's a nice teacher, but I doubt that she is preparing students well for university level writing. She has a very strange essay structure of 14 (numbered) sentences, and seems like we simply regurgit

True, you don't learn anything useful, but at least she's an easy mark for the grades and transcript. The only thing I find useful is writing essays from her, but not using her specific style.

Even though I did not like her essay structure, she had an interesting way to teach English by reacting our novels that were read. If you wanted help, she gave it you you

Absolutely ridiculous. Her essay format is repulsive. Tell me another teacher who makes students NUMBER their sentences in their essays.

Her teaching method is rigid, but I understand where she's coming from. She treats her students like people, not like children.
