The only reason people think he's a bad teacher from yelling and being mad all the time is because nobody takes him seriously. Usselman can actually teach, it's just that he doesn't like students who slack off at all, so he gets mad often. He also takes freedom of speech to a whole new level.

He's a bad teacher. He never helps you when you ask for help, he just tells you "You're wrong", and proceeds to prove so in a way that makes you feel bad. He's always so stressed, and he never cares about people texting and stuff. When it comes to teaching he doesn't even explain everything thoroughly. I think he's a horrible teacher as I haven't learnt anything from him.
