Seems to know her material but has no clue as to how to explain it. When asked a question, she needs to look to the heavens for answers.
Avoid this teacher if you can. Very hard marker on labs. Read the textbook or fail.
She's a good teacher. She has a well defined structure for the course and doesn't omit any important information. In fact, her teaching is so well structured that I felt the textbook was completely unnecessary. On the downside, her exam questions are questionable and are never properly phrased. She doesn't assign any problems made by her, which leads to students being very knowledgeable in terms of the course material, but still unprepared for her exams.
To be fair, she is not a bad teacher, but her tests questions and grading are controversial. One major problem is that she does not assign enough exercise problems, which makes students rather unprepared for tests. An upside with her is that she summarizes well the topics and spares us of all the uninteresting chemistry details presented in the textbook... She looks up at the ceiling a lot, but I feel that health issues affect her concentration. Please be tolerant towards that.
Tests/quizzes are full of errors. She will sometimes acknowledge it, sometimes not (i.e. final exam). Looks uninterested teaches to the ceiling and is not able to answer questions. Gets upset quickly.
The material we learn is not difficult, but she is so unclear that pretty much everything is vague. Read the book instead and you'll be fine. Tests are full of errors. Her questions are not well writt
gives good notes, very clear....... although looks A LOT at the seiling
Very hard marker for labs. Seems uninterested at times, but helpful nevertheless
