Mr. Bulgarea is an incredible teacher. Very nice, thoughtful and compassionate towards his students. He is also very intelligent and knowledgeable. Tests are fair but sometimes tricky however that should be expected from any teacher. Overall, a great person and teacher to have.

Professor Gabriel Bulgarea is by far the best physics teacher at vanier. Trust me, first semester I took a different teacher for mechanics and I didn't have a good experience with him. For waves and E&M, I took Professor Bulgarea and I really liked the way he teaches. His exams are fair and gives many problems to practice on. He really prepared us well for the final exam, which was common. Overall, I definitely would recommend the teacher 10/10 !! TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN! you won't regret it!!!!

I don't know what these people below me are talking about. His notes are so messy, all over the board & they flat out suck. Sometimes he starts talking & he expects us to remember what he said for our tests, instead of actually adding that into his class notes. The examples he gives are way to easy compared to the tests/final. The class average was 50% FOR THE FINAL!!!! That just shows he didn't prepare us well. Had him for waves btw. I wouldn't take him again ever. His methods just didn't work.

One of my favourite teachers throughout my studies at Vanier. I took Mr. Bulgarea for Mechanics as well Electricity & Magnetism, and I enjoyed every single moment of his classes. His lectures are extremely clear and gives a sufficient amount of examples in order to guide us with our homework problems. Mr. Bulgarea is very knowledgable when it comes to the theory, especially for E&M, after all he has an Electrical Engineer degree. I usually don't rate my teachers, so please trust me and take him.

Okay here's the deal with him. He's very knowledge. He knows exactly what he's talking about. But there are some issues, which are important to discuss.
1. Some of his tests are very easy, others very difficult. All quizzes are easy.
2. To prepare for the final, you need to learn from the textbook on your own and ask him questions.. Although it is difficult to make an appointment with him.
3. His notes are messy, he goes through only a few examples, goes off on tangents. He also mumbles and

People are very quick to blame their failures on teachers without considering that they might not have put in as much effort into the course as they should have. This teacher makes sure a topic is understood before moving on. Class participation is key. Not only does it prepare you for exams, it can boost your grade. While some topics feel rushes toward the end of the semester, this is to be expected. Overall pleasant experience.

Look people. If you don't study you will not get good marks. Even more for E&M. It is not hard to understand. I did my work. I spent maybe 6 hours total studying for the final and got a very good grade. He has an accent but it does not make him a bad teacher. Think what you want but he has a lot of knowledge, knows his stuff and is very a very nice man. Listen in class and do your homework.

Don't read the other deceiving ratings that made many in the class regret taking him. If his class is the only class you can fit in your schedule. I wouldn't risk it. He is never there in class and assigns other teachers to teach his class, never in the labs with his students. Textbook problems don't represent the tests and class problems are too easy in comparison to those impossible tests. He mumbles, reads his MIOs and never answers, never is in his office during office hours, don't risk it!

His mumbling will basically motivate you to skip classes and make his class an active learning one. Get ready for that. Not present in the labs. Lol. Prob worst teacher I've ever had. Idk what the hype is all about here... He certainly isn't the best physics teacher; there are def better ones out there. Folks, I have warned you. You'll get so surprised from the first class.

Not the best out there.
He sometimes doesnt show up to class and instead of cancelling it, a substitution teacher comes which teaches differently and it gets you all confused.
He makes mistakes in his corrections so go see him after and you can surely get at least 5% added to your grade.
He does not answer your mios so make sure you go see him in person.
He is very nice but honestly, who needs a nice teacher? All we care about is how easy the course is.
He isnt the best but not the worst.

This teacher is the most pathetic teacher, ever. You'll see that once you take him (don't), this course will consist of seeking physics videos on youtube & other teachers' help, as you don't get anything with him. I passed his class mostly from this, so that's my two cents. Him mumbling and whispering to the class makes them useless to attend. Plus, he's so slow & lazy. Doesn't explain well : answers your questions in 2 sentences, max. Unfair marking. Not present in the labs; it's such a joke.

Others might say that he is knowledgeable, but for me he was bugging every time and students had to correct his formula. His mio replies are late, sometimes he does not answer them. The best physics teacher at vanier. He always related physics to real life. Do the textbook problems he assigns once or twice before the test, and STUDY the theory and you're guaranteed a good grade

Firstly he's a really nice and funny teacher. He's also one of the best physics teachers I've had so far. He really explains the material well. His tests are fair. Take him if given the chance.

Easiest teacher out there - but you learn nothing. He's always late, leaves during labs, he's never in his office during his office hours. Really does not want to teach!

whoever likes this guy is b/c he's so lenient, easy, and gives bonus marks to anyone he likes (has many favorites). Anyone who actually wants to learn something, will try to avoid him at all cost!
