One of the best. Teaches the stuff actually needed in life. Great guy. Awesome for Global Perspectives.
Mr. Syme is the best teacher I've ever had in my life. I believe he opens up the minds of the malleable left-brained kids that probably populate his classroom today. Listen up and get your A.
He reads the news paper every morning about pointless things. Never makes sense, leaves the class room, all of a sudden he'll have a thought and just leave! cant stand him as a teacher doesnt respec t
I really like him as a person. But it's tough to ignore the fact he only marked half of our work, lost some of it, wasted lots of time, and always put us second to Global Perspectives.
Had him as my T.A for 4 years and after those 4 years he still didn't know my name. Expresses his own opinion about worthless stuff way to much.
Mr. Syme is a nice guy, but his classes are so boring. I don't know why I bother going to class when I could be sleeping in. He repeats everything & teaches the class the same thing as the day before.
Mr Syme is a good teacher if you want to coast through english without doing any work. If you like the subject though, don't take his class. We didn't even finish studying a book all year.
He's so nice. I loved his style of teaching. He actually taught real world stuff, not just the junk in the curriculum. I graduated two years ago and I still go to volunteer with him at the Upper Room.
Syme is a great teacher. After my depression, he taught me how to open my eyes to world, and showed me all that there was. He reads the newspapers to you, and he gets you really excited about english.
Mr. Syme... where to begin? He is an extremely insightful and helpful teacher. He seems to know where teenager’s heads are at and manages to relate to them with the newspaper every morning.
Former student of Mr. Syme. Looked forward to his class every day and got a lot out of it. Has a great ability to put English Lit materials into context by giving historical background. Fun dude.
Very interesting guy who likes to digress and talk about lots of random stuff. Thankfully it is almost always very interesting and I enjoy being in his class.
His class is super easy, you just get to listen to him talk for 1 hr 45 mins every day... He talks about some pretty funny / interesting things though. I enjoy having him.
this man truly educates people. just don't expect to get your work back fast.
This dude is a really great guy. Whether or not I always agreed with him, he made me think about things, which is key to any educational institution.
Didnt have him much.. mostly subbing, but from what I've had of him I like him.
doesn't teach english that good!(lol) should become a history teacher!
He is a great teacher, really knows what he is talking about
Mr. Syme is a very smart guy but he spends the WHOLE class talking and reading the paper. Boring! Other classes cover twice the stuff we do.
Most influential teacher I've ever had... changed the way i see things... really good teacher
Syme isn't not the man. English has not ever been as funner as this' year is bin. He teached us grammer really goodly. and sructures sentinces reely goood.
Very passionate about EVERYTHING! Opinionated, but encourages us to develop opinions about everything.
Syme Rocks! He always encourages discussion and really teaches you how to think aswell as how to write properly. Good JOB!
Mr Syme is so cool! He' actually makes his students think about life AND learn english.
Frasier is great. He is openminded and is very compassionate about teaching. He doesnt hand back assignments all that fast, but understandable- hes a busy man!
Likes to talk, could be a bad thing, but it's mostly good. A bit hyper-active on post modernism and is strangely obssesed with death, perticularly by method of foreign object in throat O.o
