Mr. Diab does not accept when he is wrong and is terrible teaching band to newcomers. Anyone in grade 9 or after should not attempt to start his band class simply for the fact that he makes you feel incompetent and slow. He expects you to know everything right off the bat and it's not an encouraging way of teaching. As a teacher he is rude and has favourites. He is selective in who he chooses to scold and enforce his rules and he is in constant denial when challenged on the subject. Bad teacher.

Do not listen to anyone saying his music class is hard. Anybody who thinks his music class is hard is not musically inclined at all and shouldn't be taking it past grade 9 in the first place. He tells you EXACTLY what you need to know, what to practice, what you need to work on; everything you get wrong is entirely your fault, because he tells you before hand everything you need to know. If he sees potential in you, he will bring it out. I hated him at first, but he is an amazing teacher/guy

Mr Diab really cares about his students. He wants us to be our best and pushes us toward that. The people who say negative things are not interested in music so why would they like the class. Don't blame him. He's a great teacher.

He's too serious. Doesn't make his class much fun. He is way too strict about really dumb things. Move on already.

I disagree with the rest of the ratings. I found him to be a pretty good teacher. I peer help for his grade eight class now and he is very helpful/understanding
