I had Mr. Zelnicker for a history/politics class at Wagar High School some 41 years ago. I was a tough student for most teachers to handle. He was outstanding and inspired me greatly. I went on to CEGEP, McGill and Law School. I remember asking him a question about the "Japs" and Pearl Harbour to which he replied "there were no Japs in 1941 but there were Japanese". He was a serious and committed educator with a great sense of Humour.
One of the most understanding teachers. Way ahead of his time.
HE REALLY INTIMIDATED ME BUT I THINK HE WAS A GREAT EDUCATOR. I RESPECTED HIM A LOT.
