Mr Watt is very good and helpful when he teaches. His lessons teach a lot of information and the tests are very straight forward. What I didn't like about him was at the end of the semester, he gave the same worksheet for 3 weeks (define key terms, summarize sections of chapter, answer questions) and didn't check the answers, he marked it based on if you finished it or not. I didn't learn much from it. Other than that, Mr Watt is a very good teacher.

He thinks that he is really funny but he is not. He makes jokes that are mean and rude and he sometimes makes you feel uncomfortable. When he gives you tests and quizzes he never gives you the answers and never goes over the specific test recommendations. When he gives worksheets they are very blurry and you can never read them.

He teaches you really specific information (stats, etc. ) that is not necessary for the exam. He made us memorize a whole bunch of Canadian lakes which were really not worth it. His textbook work was really boring. You also have to check your rubrics sometimes, because he always totals up your mark incorrectly or gives you the wrong percentage etc.

While he sometimes fails with regards to the factual accuracy of the material he teaches, he is often willing to be corrected and accepts criticism well. Otherwise, he does a pretty good job of teaching in a way that makes students understand the material.

Mr. Watt's classes consist of textbook work and personal life stories. However, if you do the projects and study for tests you should finish his course with a high grade. Classes can get a bit dull though. He doesn't have favourites which is nice, he'll give you the mark you deserve

Though I am doing quite well in his class (95+). Favouritism is a big problem.
I find that a majority of his classes are simply worksheets and reading from the textbook. If I was given these sheets and the textbook I could finish the course in a week.
He also spends a lot of time on random life stories, not class related lessons.
Keep in mind, he does not actually read over the work you hand in.
If you simply make it look completed, just literally write any random nonsense, it'll pass.

i had mr watt for grade10 history and for grade 9 geography. he is a pretty good teacher and he really pushes you to get the best possible mark you deserve. what i don't like is that sometimes he docent give us enough class time to get our homework done but what he talks about is pretty interesting.

Mr. Watt's classes are very VERY boring. He tends to talk about one thing, and then starts an unnecessary anecdote which can last 10-20 minutes. Then at the last 30 minutes of class he gives you work. The work and lesson plans ALWAYS will go by the textbook. His tests are okay. Just go by the textbook and try to listen in class.

Mr. Watt is a humourous teacher and is quite funny. Although his tests can be pretty hard sometimes, he pushes you just enough that you LEARN from the class. The only thing I do not like about him is that instead of trying to prepare students with clear review material, he just tells you "what is going to be covered" and gives you a bunch of worksheets to be completed. If he was just a bit more of a helper in this aspect, he would make an awesome teacher that I dream of.

I've only had him once in Geography, and I have to say, he was a fair teacher. Not as captivating as I hope from all teachers but fair. However, that might just be due to the subject. More, recently I've known him a funny, outgoing Scotsman who always has a joke up his sleeve. And perhaps a Scotch lollipop stuck to his sleeve. He also gets extra points for his a cool accent.

I had gr10 History and gr12 World Issues with Mr. Watt. As much of a hard teacher he can become at times, he is really great as a person, and is really fun to be in his class at times, despite sleeping through a lot his world issues classes.. He covers the general stuff in world issues but places some extra material on which was in text book which not many read. So yes it can get frustrating at times. However he is not as a hard marker than the rest of the social science department. Overall a great teacher.

Mr watt is a great teacher when it comes to physical education, he knows waht he's talking about and he makes health class a joke. But when he's serious and about to teach a lesson in health class, you get vrey sleepy and eventually drop - eyes shut. But overall, he's a great teacher and his teachings are not that bad, but not the best. He studders a little when he talks, but it's alright. He also gets off topic and starts telling the class aobut another day. Overall, good teacher

He's alright. He tries to be funny doesnt work. His job is to teach me geography, not demand that i use his memonic method. I have my own ways of memorizing... and even worse, is that i must show my memonic on the test, and it counts as part of my mark.. is even more retarted.. if a certain method works for me.. why penalize me and make me learn memonics.. some tip Mr.Watt, stick to geography, stop preaching about how much better your methods are, and get some new material for your jokes
