I had her for computer science this year and oh my god i loved her! i personally don't really like her teaching style (she just writes the concepts on the board and you have to understand them yourself) but she was such a great teacher! shes retiring this year and its so sad that i won't be taught by her again... ;-; shes like a mom if you get to know her and she just so great! Love you mrs young!!!! <3333

A great math teacher who is enthusiastic to help her students, and sparks an interest in math. She is a fair marker. Friendly personality, that allows her students to open up to her.

One of the best math teachers I have ever had. She explains the material perfectly, and makes math easy. Ms. Young is a teacher that makes learning fun and interesting. A great help, and easily approachable.

Her idea of teaching is putting a question on the board and expecting you to do it. Then having another student take it up. Completely useless. Switch out if you can

Young is a great teacher for gr 12 calc. If you study VERY HARD you could obtain a mark in the mid 90s. On the tests the questions are fairly represented and making it possible to get a mid 90 mark. The only thing is that questions on tests are slightly harder than quizzes of hw. Her lessons are the best but when you ask her a question, she doesnt really explain well. but who cares; her lessons were the best i've had in high school. good job young

Excellent (and incredibly easy) teacher. I have never gotten a math mark above 90% in Grades 9-11, and then in Grade 12, I earned a 97% with Ms Young. Not only is she easy, but she's a great teacher. She knows the subject, and she knows how to get information across. She's also ALWAYS willing to help with questions. All in all, a fabulous teacher.

shes not an easy teacher at all for calculs. For advanced functions she is, but in calculus, prepare to have your marks lowered. She tries very hard to be helpful but I find her way of teaching fairly hard to understand and I think she expects all the students to know the material already. If you are not a VERY strong math student, I recommend another math teacher. If you are, then i guess ms. young is good for you. But on the plus side, she is a genuinly nice person

Ms Young was very professional, helpful, and encouraging. She definitely wants her students to do well, and she gives all the help she can, but her class is still pretty tough. You can do well, but you have to try hard. I really respected her as both a teacher and a person, and I find that very rare in a high school teacher.

A really nice and helpful teacher - I had her for calculus and grade 10 programming. My only criticism would be is that she assumes you are well-versed, and thus chooses to teach above a particular standard - which is both good and bad, since it makes you strive for the best yet it can be tough to achieve.
