Amazing person and IB coordinator. IB is her baby and she will help you. Go to her if you need help anytime; she is understanding.
Sooo boring. She's really smart and helpful but I could not stay awake in that class. If you get in trouble, she will fight for your life...if you're in full ib at least xD
She's a really good teacher; she goes over the notes very thoroughly however, it is a bit hard catching everything she says. I recommend studying weeks before the exam, because they are HARD!
Sometimes when there are conflicts with exams, her solution to the problems are the most illogical solutions. She wants to scale our high final exam mark down based on our marks in class. Ridiculous
Ms. Fischer is very awesome. She's very understanding and knows what the students are going through (especially the IB kids). She also knows the material very well. Tests were pretty hard though, you have to be VERY prepared for them.
Her tests are super hard, but she is the sweetest, most understanding teacher in the entire school. The hero of IB kids.
Her overhead notes are messy and there is an excess of handouts, but she is the nicest teacher on EARTH. She's really cool and if you saw how busy her schedule was you'd understand why she rushes a bit. But it gives you more time for review. She trains your mind with her tests so that the finals and midterm are a joke. Best teacher at Ainlay. Rivals Matichuk's humor.
She gave me 83% in Bio30I. Said that she scaled the scores to be representative of what we would have received in a regular class. I got 97% on the Diploma without studying (looked over a few practise exams the week before, then subseqently laughed my way into and out of the main gym on exam days). Was the Diploma that easy, or was she not scaling properly? You be the judge.
At first, it will take you a while to get used to her test. She tests you hard and ensures that you know your stuff straight well, you better know your content down to the core if you want to even get an 85% in her class- dont think you can just BS your way throught her exams. However, on that note, her Notes are AMAZING, she puts so much effort into it. Once you have her as a teacher and learn her way the Midterm and the Finals are gonna be hilarious jokes, ull be like wth was that.
she will almost overteach you everything so that you are well prepared leaving the class, and she really cares for the individual student, which is really really awesome. her classes are nice to follow- she gives great notes
Good teacher. Class is sorta boring but she gets through all the material very well. Teacher university style. Cares greatly for the IB kids.
she is a really good woman who really cares about her students, especially the IB kids, but she is not a good teacher. like her a lot though.
Her classes are BORING ... but as long as you're better than everyone else in the class, you'll pass with flying colours. ^^
She is an expert at explaining and makes sure that a student understands the particular process of bio. I have like a 100 in her class!!!
she tries hard to make students understand but she is too rushed and doesnt give good written notes, just typed notes that are missing some points
she is an awesome teacher. makes bio soo interesting...
Really nice. Sometimes a little unclear but tries SOOO hard to make all of her students happy!!!
she goes extra miles at lunch and afterschool to help you understand and makes up the funniest analogies, really good teacher, knows her stuff.
Not bad. Knows her stuff really well, willing to help. You have to get used to her style, though, and no daydreaming- she delivers busloads of info every class.
talks like the text book, I went from 90s in bio to 60s in her class--- ahhhhh!!
ok teacher. talks too fast in class, and won't stop talking when you ask her a question.
Too many handouts and lectures, not enough time taken to make sure comprehension is there.
Super understanding and really wants you to do well, I just don't like her teaching style. She just hands out notes and then reads them to you, it's boring.
Pretty cool teacher. EXCEPTIONALLY understanding. The fact that she just reads from notes is no good though. Also, she doesn't make us take notes.
Teaches too fast, doesn't stop for questions. FAR too much h/w. I could do the course by correspondence beacuse she just reads her notes she hands out.
She teaches at a very high level. She really does her best to help u understand
