I think Dennis McDermott is a great mentor for all teachers. I started out as a young teacher at Applewood and had a horrible experience, but looking back on what Dennis said to me, I still carry his advice with me and am glad that he was such a great mentor. It's awesome to see you're still around!

I would often skip Ms. Gabrielle's class to listen to his lectures. The students in his class have said they are learning about WWII, but I hear him talking about Evolution. Not one person was fidgeting or being distracted, everybody stared and listened to the deep conversation.

Such a mystery man. Hes the best teacher you'll ever get. he so filled with knoweldge. a very intellegent man. He's a bit usual when teaching the class, but that's what makes the class to deep, and fun to listen to. Hes number one out of every teacher in this school.

Doesn't teach any of the course material very well, but you learn about stuff that you'll actually use some day. Definitely one of the funnier teachers in the school, too.

He is amazing. He will put the same note up on the board for 2 weeks in a row yet kids still copy it down. and every class he will tell you that he has been putting up the same note and yet people will still write it down. He is actually a teacher and an educator. You are a blessing to applewood

A phenomenal human being. A phenomenal educator. He teaches the curriculum - the Curriculum of Life - something the Ministry seems to have forgotten. Mr. McDermott, you are a wonder. Thank you for all your help. You are the reason for my passion and success in education. May God Bless you:)
