As a person I don't think he comes up with the best sentences but he can recall information very well and he is very persuasive. I think he is pretty easygoing, there might even be too small an amount of assessments. He marks pretty easily too but I wouldn't know for sure because I'm bad at english
He is an outstanding teacher. He is always willing to help his students and wants to see them succeed. Overall amazing.
very nice guy and wants to see you succeed
hes a good teacher! not gonna lie. he talks a lot usually about his family. He needs to stop asking people "Are U OK?" every second bcuz he makes me feel like a reject/delinquent. I am ok, and I was ok 10 minutes ago when you asked me the EXACT SAME QUESTION. Like i understand he cares but come on. He's also not personal because he tells everyone the EXACT SAME STORIES. He memorizes the videos, he knows what he's talking about. Enjoy your class while ur in it bcuz some of his stories r funny :)
man oh man just huge
great teacher who really knows his stuff and cares for his students. mr. Nemerofsky civics class is amazing, and he uses many different methods of teaching so all of his students can get the information needed to get a good mark in his class.
This is a guy who wants you to get the most out of his class. He goes beyond the syllabus often, true, but he does his best to engage students with discussions. Mr. Nemo is definitely in the top-tier of teachers at Mackenzie. His teaching style is really intermediary from high school to that of a professor in University (except you'd be lucky to find a professor who can be as one-on-one and responsive to you as a student). Not an easy marker, but a fair and (importantly) transparent one.
I think he's funny and all, but he can get pretty annoying and self-centred. He keeps stressing about how he's been teaching for 21 years and his discussions are usually off topic. And for all my years here at Mac, I gotta say the introductory questions for the social science courses are extremely unfriendly. (Keeps stressing "Be brief and specific!") Also, when the social science teachers COMBINE their efforts into a project or exam outline, he only gives himself credit (Created by D. Nemerofsky)
NEMO! LOL. What an awesome teacher. Although, IMHO he penalizes complex essays and the use of big words =(.
you cannot leave mackenzie until you have taken a class with him, he makes me laugh, even though he doesnt joke very much, he is very corny, and always talks about his endless family, which seems to occupy every city and town in ontario, quebec, and michigan,
he is very good when explaining a lesson to the class, but i find it impossible to talk to him 1 on 1, because he does not let you say even a sentence
He keeps saying he doesn't know anything. That's depressing. If HE doesn't know anything, what do I know?
What to say? He's tough, he is. But I managed alright in the two times I've had him. Getting a 90 in his class will be hard work. But do as he say and you'll be fine. His tests [especially his multiple-choices] are a breeze. They're far and in between too. Loves to show class videos and tell stories of his experience [which he often repeats] but he's a good guy. Wants to help everyone and it shows. He's very lenient about deadlines but not so easy on the marking. The infinite how-so's! Great, nonetheless.
Very good teacher but marks very hard and unfair, expecially tests. All he can say is "how so?", a neverending question. Also, first you notice he has many interesting stories but when he starts to repeat them, it gets very boring. And the movies... he MEMORIZED them!!!, he knows exactly when to pause and wat each person says!
awesome! really good teacher, and if you need a compliment, go to him! but very hard marker
my favorite high school teacher. I have the utmost respect for Mr. Nemerofsky, as he is there to help everyone.
Dignity and respect are his favourite words, and MAN, it SHOWS. He's a great teacher, although your essay skills will always need to be topped by the next. Prepares you for University. He knows what he's talking about, but he rambles. Still, when you get off topic, you get to learn ALOT. He knows his subjects well. GO NEMEROFSKY GO! HE LIKES THE LEAFS!!
maybe ull learn something but ur marks wont necesarily refelct that. He tries 2 sound all personal with u but realy he repeats the same thing to everyone. lovess boring videos
Very good teacher, knows what hes talknig about and more. Nice and respectful, gives plenty of time to complete work. He REALLY needs to cut it out with the "how so?"'s when he marks essays! dont ask "how so?" when the answer is in the next freaking sentance!!!
very nice teacher.. do your work and ul get great grades.
Teaches about the world. not just what's in the textbook. You can tell he's really on top of things, and as a result he expects the same from you. good guy.
The essay processes did help prepare me for my university essays. Good teacher!
He is an amazing teacher, though he does tend to ramble sometimes...he is tough for a reason, and he truly cares
awesome guy - hes really respectful, caring and SMART - and he has kooky stories to tell:)-m
omg awww he's so funny lol he gets off topic and tells us a lot of stories but he's rilly funny and a good teacher! :D
Treats his students with dignity and respect, and is more than fair. Will do whatever he can to help them to pass, and I'd know, I'm a miserable student.
reserved but enthusiastic man...cares about his students...learned something also
Hey, if he says he can't answer it, he can't! If he can, he WILL! Great sense of humour, he's terrific for a morning class! :) Deadlines - important! Make them!
If I was tested on his family and vacations to Egypt, I would have gotten an A
tough and doesn't answer hw questions very well ... tests r usually different than book material ... funny and always gets offtopic or tries to teach u 5 chapters ahead
He's a great teacher for lower level classes but he couldn't get philosophy if it bit him in the nose. He cares about his students, though.
gets off topic so quickly and talks about his name his family and him soooo much
You'll learn a lot. Not necessarily always course material. An excellent teacher
if i ever hear the same story again from him....nice, dedicated man!
my fav teacher ever! very interesting and nice. tough but you'll thank him later
