He has a lot of funny stories if you pull on him hard enough. Ask him about the time he had a beard, got into bar fights, and planted trees. Otherwise he is a very straightforward teacher who generally gives straightforward assesments. He's also good at asking questions. However, he does have a tendency to teach too fast so be sure to ask questions if you don't get it.
One of the worst learning experiences of my high school career was learning under Mr. Luers. He lacks people skills and cannot connect properly with his students and shows no interest to help when outside of class. to make matters worst he brings a stupid little dog to every class who could be easily mistaken for a rodent.
Mr. Luers is awesome! He breaks every subject down into chunks and explains everything clearly. I've never had a teacher that teaches so methodically.
He is awesome, he makes everything really simple, and we you get bored you can go take a walk to refocus
Love his clarity in explaination and how he only uses variations of questions from the book on quizes and tests.
hes alright but sometimes he ignores you
Outstanding teacher, but his class is always awkward because he lacks people skills.
He totally messed up my math grade, considering how well I did on the exams vs. his tests/quizzes/bonuses. Whatevs, I thought he was a pretty damn funny character; weight training and all.
lacks clarity. yelled at me repeatedly when i knew the material and was turning around to help others.
He needs work on his handwriting. especially on his arabic numbers for he's a math teacher
so he makes the school pay his family vacations...soo..all the others do that 2
quie a boring teacher... tends to make his sudent seem supid...
despite what some say i thought he was an excellent and occasionally fun teacher
looking for friends to go to Disneyland with his family
