History class lectures were boring from time to time especially in the morning. He knew the subject really well. Don't try to prove him wrong

This man was the worst teacher I've had at Canterbury. Slash, one of the only bad teachers at Canterbury. Let me sum it up for you. Monty Python's the Life of Brian was pretty much what our Christianity Unit was in World Religions. I'm not religious, but I went into that class to actually learn about other religions... Very biased man, and quite rude to be honest.

He brings everything into the classroom... and for that he is amazing. in spite of the social walls most teachers put up between themselves and students, defalco lets much of his life slip out in all its raw wonder. He's also a very helpful teacher if you have serious questions, while still being completely laxed about missed due dates...

Greatest history teacher I've had since FOREVER! Really knows his stuff. Very funny too. For the first time in my life, I actually found history kind of fun. Bad marker tho. Has all these amazing stories about history that make it SO REAL. Bit too biased about his opinions.

Some people may not like his teaching style, but this is one teacher who will actually give you a proper lecture, rather than just reading over notes. He loves to explain things in vivid detail when teaching and I found it extremely helpful in learning all the material.
