Highly disliked this teacher. He tends to favour and cater to the popular students and can be rude and condescending. Most times, it appears that he doesn't want to be a teacher, just to fit in and be liked by popular students.

Mr. Dawson was awesome. He recognizes that the english curriculum is non-existant, and tries his best to make it a creative experience for students. Put lots of thought into your Creative Response projects. The weirder the better.

I remember when I took his class in Grade 12 several years ago now, and failed miserably because I skipped out most of the time. If I could go in a time machine......he was a good guy though.

Amazing teacher, fascinating person. Odd, yet funny. Very relaxed in class, but if you're smart you'll make an effort and listen to what he says, because I guarantee you'll learn more from him than any other English teacher (at least that I've had). Very helpful, clear on assignments, doesn't waste his time in forcing you to learn; instead makes you WANT to learn. Gives interesting, insightful lessons, and is clearly passionate about the material and knows his stuff.
