Mr. Danylyshen is knowledgable, nobody can doubt that. His grasp on philosophy and literature is so clear and refined that it is obvious he has spent a significant amount of energy learning the topics he teaches. However, every human has flaws, and some are devastating. My Danylyshen was vindictive to students he disliked, and gave passes to those who played sports. One time he straight up denied to read over my essay. He is an awful teacher, who purposefully puts down students he doesn't like.
His tastes is books, music and film were great. Him playing Se7en for the class sealed the deal on his cool factor. He was the only teacher at St. Stephens I can say I truly respected. I remember doing a project on the film 8mm to see if I would get in trouble for it. I didn't. That was a test Mr. D and you passed.
Boring class rarely talks to class & seems uninterested
it was an amazing class and I had a lot of fun and he is also a great and amazing teacher he also has a great sense of humor and is open to jokes.
Had him in grade 10... I was not his favourite so I did not do well. Took him again in grade 12... had a MUCH better understanding of the man and did far better. Dude tells it like it is and out of all my teachers prepared me for university the most. He sacrifices his popularity in exchange for being a GOOD TEACHER, and a better 'coach'... dude seriously helped me open my eyes to how university works! Glad I had him :)
he's got this big cabinet, and someone told me that its full of different sauces and spices for when he eats his students.
Interesting class. Although he doesn't seem to care to take an interest in his students. But on his good days he's a funny guy. I like him.
Class was confusing as hell... but I have a limited understanding of stuff so it might just be me
The guy has a way with words, he's one of my favourite teachers...even if he's a tuff marker
Gyyea Mr.D one of my faaav teachers! very smart, and a really funny guy! hard as heck course, but made it fun and interesting.
Mr. D knows his stuff and if you work you'll do well. Never teaches? That one obviously never paid attention.
I adored Mr. Danylyshen; he was a great teacher. I'd say my favourite to date. He knows his stuff and you -want- to pay attention. Transcendence! Dystopia! Ah, good times.
Professional student? Where are you getting this stuff from? Self esteem issues? definately not. He taught me how to write and to think harder.
PROFESSIONAL STUDENT? so he calls him self. What a joke. Those who can, DO. Those who can't teach. Very low selfesteem makes fun of others to make himself feel good.
He always teaches great stuff. Second coming of Michael Moore? Whatever. At least he has an opinion (and a brain).
Danylyshen really has a way with words. His classes are often interesting.
Thinks he's the second coming of Micheal Moore, but he just repeats stuff he heard somewhere. Never teaches.
He is a good teacher and a very inteeligent person. However, I wish he would relate to the students more and did not favour certain individuals.
He is one teacher that I can say opened up my eyes to english. He has a very different style of teaching. Very interesting older man.
Mr. D is the most inspiring and intelligent man that has ever taught me english. He really trys to instill the value of literature in his students.
pessimistic, good music, and likes video games...good teacher
Brilliance! Sheer brilliance! He's helped me write amazing essays! Now if only Butler could have...
His lingo consists of big words and random Shakespeare quotes. Good style.
