Im in his "french" business class but he speaks english the whole time and we watch a lot of movies. sometimes when he's done giving a lesson he lets us do whatever we want for the rest of the class
love this guy, best math teacher i ever had
Math was such a struggle in his class... I can't speak for other subjects. But he is really nice.
He's a good teacher. He goes over the examples for each section to make sure everyone understands the topic. If you do the assigned homework you should be able to achieve an 80 at least. His tests are pretty tough, but again they're not usually far off from what he assigns for homework. I found quizzes harder than tests, so if you do badly on the quiz don't let that discourage you.
I do not understand when he's teaching math, he just does the examples from the text book, and it's all jumbled around the chalk board. A lot of people i talk to don't really understand either... sigh. Funny at times though !
Being in his class is like sitting front-row in a bad comedy show: everyone's scared they'll get picked next, and wonders when it would be appropriate to leave. (He teaches the concepts well though)
Let me start off by saying I had him for Archives (the IDC course) and not French or Math. Upon discussion with peers, it seems like he acts differently depending on the class he's teaching, but I can't say for sure. All I'm putting out there is that if he doesn't like you, you better hurry up and choose between being yourself or having a good mark. He also kind of ruined Archives. The course has a lot of potential, but he doesn't teach it well at all...
One of the funniest teachers at Harbord; his classes are always a joy to attend. I wouldn't say that he is a particularly easy marker, but he is always fair. He is also better at teaching mathematics than any other teacher I've had before or since.
his hanouts are chokeful of language mistakes, he needs to brush up on his written French
An amazing teacher, always willing to help students!
Mr. Leblanc can be funny.. On occasion.. But after a few classes with him, it becomes clear that he is actually quite mean. He is helpful, but very insulting. And, not to insult whomever reviewed before me.. But his 'profound knowledge about life'? I mean, have I missed something? He's a showoff who can occasionally make awitty remar k, definitely not somebody I'd call profound..
mr. leblanc is a teacher who at first is hilarious but his jokes are repetetive and he needs to get new material.
One of the best history teachers that you could every possibly have. His background knowledge makes it for an interesting class.
AWESOME, He's cool, and a great math teacher. Best teacher I've had. If I could have all my courses in French, as long as he would be my teacher, I would do it.
he's really cool and he treaches really well but the best things are his dwrawings on the board they'er so funny and so is he
He is an awesome teacher! he's soo funny and he is also a really great math teacher! He will answer all your question and help you out!

he is cool kind of disappointing that he actually makes you hand in homework though
I don't have him about i know he's really funny, and knows alot
He is awsome!!! he is so funny and makes jokes all the time and actually helps people learn math at the same time
THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!! he makes his classes interesting and teaches his students properly
You are the best teacher I've ever had, Mr. Leblanc! You were my teacher evey year of high school, and you were always an inspiration.
a good teacher but should specialize in one subject!
