He knows what he's doing and he's a smart guy, but he doesn't know how to describe it to others, my math average is an 80% usually and I got 60% in his class. And that 60 came from teaching myself from the textbook.

I am an 80% adverage math student. I got a 57% in his course ontop of tutoring. By far the absolute worst math teacher I've ever had or heard of. Maybe if he taught more math and less religion, things would be better but he can't even explain what f(x) means never mind how do do functions. Drop the course if u have him because you will fail

One of the worst teachers I have ever had. He talks more about how birth control is slavery for women, than actual math.

In general, he's a pretty good teacher, and I like how he's always willing to answer questions and help those who are confused. But sometimes, even though he's trying, his explanations don't help. Still, he's a fair marker. He gives lots of tests but the questions are fair - he doesn't make them super-hard, and if you try, he'll give you part marks.
