I thought she was a nice, patient person. Whenever I didn't understand something I would go up to her desk during a work period and ask her and she was happy to explain it to me in more detail. She does go a little fast, but if you want to go to university you really do need to focus and push yourself a bit. She gave a lot of practice worksheets and bonus mark opportunities, which I thought was a nice touch, and she did really seem to love math.
I had Ms. D for enriched math (90-95). She was easily the best teacher I ever had and thanks to her I went on to become an engineer. Her class was one of the few that truly perpares you for university.
Very unclear but she does her best. I usually can't understand what she's talking about, but maybe that's a reflection of my math skills not her...
Ms. D.S. said i would never amount to anything in grade 9 enriched math (1990) unless i applied myself. 16 years later, 3 degrees, and 100+k a year and i thank her for setting me straight. gracias.
Ms. Dirocco is a great teacher. She is one of the few in that school that knows what she is talking about. All those people that failed, you should not even be in math. High school math is nothing compared to university.
HA HA WALDY! you bone head! you are a slacker and you didn't do any work. You deserved to fail! I know because I sat next to you. MS.D you're the Bee's Knee's
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Calculus shouldn't be and isn't easy, but Mrs. Dirocco-Smith has the energy and passion to inspire her students to success.
She's enthusiastic about Calculus, however, she doesn't take the time to make sure everyone understands. She must be hopped up on speed or something...waaaaay too much energy.
Had her for 4 years...my favourite teacher ever! Not only a teacher, but held an interest in our lives and futures...
I had Ms. D. 24 years ago for grade 9 math. She was great.
My homeroom teacher!! She is awesome and all u people that failed just didnt try hard enough
She is the best teacher ever! Full and energy and life- amazing personality and sense of humour! Makes me wanna stay in math! (but not quite)
I loved Mrs. Dirroco-Smith! Shes the greatest teacher ever and all you people that did crappy in her class....its because you have no concept of work!!
