Quite easy class. Hard marker. She isn't an amazing teacher, but isn't a bad one either. She is just very strict. If you show that you care about the class / make an effort, you will do fine in her class.
let me start by saying I struggle in French and she really helped me understand the language better. She can be a little rough (absences, lates, etc) which is understandable since there are regulations to follow as a teacher, if you're not there don't expect to pass the class. If you do the work she gives you then you'll pass the class. She taught the course content very well, would definitely recommend her. I don't know why she has low ratings, I found her very helpful
There's honestly nothing wrong with her. She's really nice but she can be hard at times because she really wants us to do well and know our stuff. Just don't get on her bad side or else, the door's waiting for you. Oh, also leave your phone in your bag.
She's amazing teacher for those who aren't too strong in the french language. To get good grades, just listen and do the work.
Christine is a great teacher and a really nice person, if you try that is. If you don't try, she will inform you the door is over there. If you do not strive to improve she will show you the door, if you do not do your homework la porte. Beside that she's absolutely amazing and I had her 3 times and she really helps you learn what you need to learn as there is a lot of material she has to cover. So don't miss a class, do all your homework and try, it basically guarantees you a pass.
Great teacher. If you don't do the work, don't cry if you don't do well. Do the work and you'll be fine.
overall she is just a mean bitter person, I'm not saying she's a bad teacher she's just a terrible marker. i worked hard the entire semester and my mark went from 90s to 70s. When i went to her office near the end of the semester to pick up some work she seemed pissed at me for coming to her office. i asked her to explain something to me and she just left.`
She's the best teacher i ever had. She's funny, helpful and nice. Be a good student and give the homework in on time. Totally recommend her!
Worst french teacher ive ever had.. Yelled at us all the time, extremely hard, threatens students.. Very hard marker and doesnt explain what you did wrong on essays or orals.. Avoid at all costs!!
She is way too arrogant, has a huge ego, speaks to you as if you have done something wrong and will go to any means in order to penalize your work. For example, I handed in an essay worth a pretty hefty amount and she suspected I had plagiarized (because my essay was pretty well done) and took two whole extra weeks to give me my mark because she had to "Do some research in order to check the validity of my work." I got a 99%, lost that 1% for no reason, not complaining but you get the point.
I didn't really like her. She seemed to come off to strongly. She didn't really mention what was needed and there were a lot of tedious assignments for class that were worth barely nothing. Don't take her if you are looking to have an easy ride through the semester. there is a lot of work involved.
Pretty easy class. Used the book a lot for classwork and homework. Not always clear in what is completely expected in homework/essay/exam.
Her level 3 class is very hard. She expects us to re write our texts in french with out explaining our errors. DO NOT TAKE HER
okay, i don't why her ratings are THAT bad... yes she's strict and has certain expectations but honestly if you just do what she wants and put in a little bit of work you will do fine. she's reasonably nice and wants you to do well, just put in the effort it's really not that much...
she is a good teacher. shes strict. but shes good. if you are willing to work and get stuff done, she is the person for you.
I find that she's a really good teacher. She wants to bash in as much information as possible into our brains before the end of semester, and hey, she does a great job.
She has the worst attitude in any teacher I have ever met. She talks with such a disrespectful and condescending tone... A huge ego also. Do not take her if you can, because she will irritate you ALOT
I also think shes a really good teacher. just pay attention, do the homework. shes a nice person if you get on her good side. she likes it when you say hi to her in the halls and when she comes in class.
Personally I think she was a good teacher. She tends to sing, but it only happened once or twice in my class. She may sound strict but she does care and she tries to give tricks to help you for the exams (the course pack is very useful). Just bring your beschrelle and dictionary and you should be fine. If you get her for level 3, she won't speak english so be ready for that. Other than that, really nice teacher.
i really didnt find her bad-but then again im french. make sure to have your dictionary and bescherelle and youll be fine. not much homework, one novel assignment and an oral at the end. not bad if youre good in french
will only speak french, only, never in a good mood, have a dictionary and you will pass
hard french teacher!! doesn't really prepare you for her tests or written texts, just yells and gives 1 or 2 easy assignments a week, then gives you tests worth 20 and 30% of your grade. not approachable AT ALL! will just tell you to go to the caf
I think she's a good teacher. She's willing to help you. Do the work and be on time.
Hates when you're late, is extremely moody, just stay on her good side, and don't like her mood get to you, you'll be ok.
for a french teacher, she's pretty typical, moody, strict and a hard marker. you will pass if you do all your work and hand it in on time....just don't be late, she hates that!
she is a bad teacher, she wouldn't care if you passed even if you tried. ALOT OF ATTITUDE!
very hard inless your a good student, she picks on her favorites so watch out
