I've had Mr. Roper for Pre-IB history, IB economics and Theory of Knowledge. He's awesome - one of the few teachers where you can really tell that they're passionate about what they teach. He's willing to answer any question and give advice. I could always tell how much he wanted us to succeed in his class.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's a good guy and all, but I dreaded going into economics class. It felt like it was never him teaching. He'd hand us some papers and an assignment due the next day and just sit there, or show us a video so that someone else could teach us. Plus, sometimes I wanted to slap his smug, arrogant face.
Knowledge is knowing that Mr. Roper is one of the best teachers out there. Mad respect.
Roper is the Messiah!
I have a ridiculous amount of respect for Mr Roper. He's so intelligent. Has soo much knowledge and information to share. Is interested in History and Politics. Makes the most sarcastic remarks in class. And he's the most engaging teacher I've had.
Very good teacher, truly one of the most knowledgeable teacher's I've had and he's great at engaging students.
he is a helpful teacher, very clear about the work assigned and does not give out too much work, keep up the good work.
he is amazing!....he really knows his history stuff!! Gr.10 history was so much fun and i learned a lot of cool stuff! i want 2 be a history teacher now!
He's a good guy, but lets way to much go in some of his classes, but he is getting better. I've heard storys about his grade 10 Ancient History Class.. :S
Mr. Roper doesn't know very much about geography. He doesn't know any questions that he gives us to complete. He should, he is the one who gave them to us.
