His take home tests enable students to get really good marks, although his in-class tests are quite a bit harder. His lessons are a bit sporadic and in order to really understand the material it's important to read the textbook and ask a lot of questions. He's very knowledgeable, but his lessons usually just brush over topics, so to succeed you NEED to ask questions. Really funny teacher, although it's hard to determine whether or not he's actually joking sometimes.
Biggest troll. Very chill. I really recommend taking AP Physics 2. It's a challenging course, but Mr. Lock makes up for it by giving you take-home tests which will definitely boost your mark (expect 100%s). The only in-class tests you do are easy regular tests. If you're not in it for the physics, take it for the teacher. He's a really cool dude.
Probably the nicest teacher ive ever had. He gives you time in cass for assignments and allows you to make up tests without a note. Its as if he was a teenager a week ago, lol. But his tests aren't easy but if you prepare for them and enjoy physics, the class is an easy A
Mr. Lock deserves more credit as a great teacher. If you're doing bad in his class, that's entirely on you. He is clear and concise regarding homework assignments and tests and always gives out the necessary material for his upcoming tests/quizzes. If you study, you'll do perfectly fine in his class. He has some dry and quiet humor so if you're paying attention, he is funny. Great teacher overall, so much respect for him aswell.
- A very nice teacher. Always willing to help with a great sense of humor - if you can hear it; Lectures are very quiet and luckily at times substituted with interesting educational videos.
Good teacher, great methods but can be boring at times.
He's actually a easy teacher, notes and instructions are clear despite the fact that sometimes I can't read his handwriting. a nice teacher though
He does not find it easy to approach problems from a way that you would understand. I love his dry humour though =)
He is sooo serious...although humorous-I want more homework! It would be nice if everyone just shuts up in class...
if you have him as a teacher, you should just go home and read the textbook. he doesn't explain labs, he assigns homework, but never checks it. and u cant hear him.
Don't sit at the back. You won't hear him. Not even when he's shouting.
Mr.Lock is an Amazing teacher. He maybe quiet, yes, but, if you actually listen, instead of talking, you'll hear him. I really like him. He's great
I had him for science 10, he would talk and no one could eve here him! He can't explain things properly! He is the most boring teacher i'v ever had! One good thing is you can cheat
A difficult challenge to hear and boring most of the times. Easy though... and funny once in a blue moon.
He's quite soft-voiced. He can get kind of boring at times, especaily if you already know the material. Quite picky on labs, however.
Awesome teacher, so mellow and quiet-- that's awesome!
he ALWAYS tells me to be quiet..... =.= do i talk that much?? and he said I'm really loud... =.="
He needs a microphone. He makes Geology fun and he's really easy. Easy to cheat too. XD
So quiet! I can't hear what he's saying half the time. Not very friendly either. He seems mad half the time, like he doesn't want to teach.
He made geology cool and fun through his simple, straight-forward teaching style and also with his various teaching aids.
he's talented in music -___-; but is very quiet... very easy marker, and just follow along and u'll do fine
he's a quiet guy, but if you really get to know him, he's a very nice and funny guy. geo class was one of my fav classes! yah, go mr lock!
BORING. really easy but didn't prepare us enough for the physics final, i ended up with a B. boo.
One of the best teachers you could hope for. Even though he's quiet, when he does say something, be prepared to laugh.
i had him for Science 9. Although he doesn't talk much but his notes are really clear. He plays the violin! =)
BOORRRINNNGG...good teacher, boring cuz he dont talk much, but students get plenty of time to talk with friends
