Good luck if you get Mr. Lamb. You're in for a semester of bad jokes and your test questions are much harder than the practice questions you do in class.
I like Mr. Lamb. Some may think he is odd, or his teachings may get too confusing, but at the same time, one can just get awed by his smartness, meticulousness, and kindness. He isntdefinitely a positive person, but he also isnt a very negative person. Simply put, he is a wellbalanced teacher. Mr Lamb has made me more interested in a course than any other teacher. I agree that sometimes he does give you the "are you dumb" glance, and he talks unclearly. But he clearly loves sharing his knowledge
Mr. Lamb thinks too highly of himself when it comes to intelligence. He is smart, but he needs to understand that being knowledgeable is not uncommon. What's more is that he fails to realize his students' needs. He does try to help students, such as checking their homework, but he must be aware of the fact that his methods do not always work, in fact, they are almost futile. What he needs is to fix such habits, and explore different approches.
Very good physics teacher. Got through the Newton's Laws portion of my physics course in university with no problems. His notes are great!
Tests are much harder than they need to be, needs new teaching methods. But he's the smartest teacher at brebeuf by far.
Helped get me through first year of UofT physics like a breeze. Notes are perfect. Lamb's tests are harder than first year exams. Awkward teacher. Only macros and doesnt macro in Starcraft.
mr.lamb needs to clarify more when he teaches, you dont learn anything throughout the year, this is why so many kids fail his class. overall he is very smart
He's a good guy im going to give him that but lets be real he has a brain of a super computer and his teaching habits are DISGUSTING! he has to improve on his teaching!
Mr.Lamb is the best!... if you stick until his Gr.12 Physics class. I really really really liked Mr.Lamb, but he sucks at Starcraft 2.....
Not easy, at all, but definitely one of the best teachers I ever had.
Awesome teacher! Can teach very well, very fun class. However most people don't see past the silver lining and think that he doesn't do any work. That is not true - he is also a very great teacher. I really learned a lot.
Probably the best class I've ever had. Yeah, you need to work at it, not like other courses, but well worth it. Lamb is a great teacher. Funny as hell, too!!
i think the primary reason ppl find lamb hard is that THEY DONT TRY... lamb's notes makes soo much sense, they all follow a logical sequence so to speak. sooo once u can understand wats going on ull get ez 80s on tests
Had him for summer school. Brilliant, but a very very poor teacher. Needs to work on teaching methods.
by far the smartest teacher i had, even thooug krevs would have something to say about that! Thats quite a statment since I am in 2nd year university/chem undergrad.
He's cool in a wierd kind of way. Funny. Very helpful when you need the help. I just can't understand y he became a teacher and not a scientist for NASA.
report card marks when you:slack off - <60% when you do all ur work - >85%
COPY AND STUDY FROM DA NOTES.. U WILL DO WELL .. ASSUMING THAT U UNDERSTAND WUT IS ON THE BOARD.. GREAT CONSIDERATE TEACHER. FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL
Argh,.. explains with undying explanation about nothing. Pick-up lines getting old, and sometimes repeats the same jokes. Gotta study independently in his class
Meh... I still don't understand displacement related to Vector... Funny jokes, can take joke really well, and is better than MacKinnon.. Hope you stay.
He is helpful. ppl who suffer in his class are people with bad work habits. Just follow along and ask questions and you'll do fine.
you've gotta get Scrabble going, physics is secondary. you can always find physics in Scrabble anyways.
sir stick to physics not checkers, or bocci ball, or scrabble
He doesn't even compare to Mckinnon, what are you saying, at least you can understand her.
one memeber of his chess group.....hahahha he is too good, ahahahhahahahah.......E=mc2
