To be honest, although sometimes he may disagree with you, Mr. Wilson is only trying to help you with materials that you are not clear with. Super chill and fun to be around with.

It's best to avoid Wilson. He's very subjective in his marking and his lessons contradict published resources. I've asked him questions about literature only to be more confused. He doesn't seem to know much about literature. If anything, what he teaches and knows is very superficial.

He's a racist and he has handouts that he made himself and don't make sense. In his class, I'd prefer published materials.

Wilson is so far the worst English teacher I've ever had. His knowledge of grammar is, at best, weak. When he talks, there is very little actual content. He will say that Oxford is British and doesn't apply to Canadian English. Seriously? Oxford has a head office in New York and creates publications for Americans and Canadians. Sigh.

Now that I'm majoring in English at Stanford, I give Wilson no credit for my success but instead offer my sympathy for the little meaning he offers to the art of literature. He's a PE teacher in St. George's, and a foray into grammar and syntax and eloquence is certainly beyond his depths. How he can continue to disappoint bright minds confuses me not only because HE CAN, but because such a SCHOOL WOULD allow it. He has a reputation for being racist. Wilson is the guy that Wilson knows sucks.
