HE DA BEST GIMME A IM RICKY
I was in his Honours class, and he teaches like everyone in the class is a genius. I am not. Only a few people in his class totally get what's going on. I have never considered myself to be bad at math, but for the first time in my life, I felt like I needed a Math tutor. Also got the lowest test mark ever in his class
Super nice guy! He teaches at a quick pace so you need to do homework and review at home! Knowledgeable and always helpful in class and outside.
Bruce is a definitely one of the worst (if not the worst) math teacher in the entire school. He teaches as if the class already knows all of the material, which they obviously don't. As a result of this, many students have grown to despise him. Students that find him tolerable are primarily those that are either heavily tutored or that are good at learning from a textbook. The only reason why he still teaches at the school is because he's the department head and has been there for a long time.
He's an awesome guy, awesome teacher and he has your back. He is extremely supportive and will see you outside of class if you need help. He clearly likes math and can explain things very clearly. He's also good about letting you know what your mark is and where you're at. His tests aren't too hard either and I think it's better to have a bit of a challenge because you feel like you're learning way more than if a teacher gives you super easy tests. He marks his tests hard though.
Assumes we already know everything and continues to give out tests and quizzes every single week even though we've only been on a topic for 2 days. Really fast paced and does not explain the crucial points, and only explains topics when we fail on a test or ask him to. Not the best math teacher but tries to help.
Mr. Ito is my math teacher and he is not helpful at all. He always just gives out assignments from textbooks or worksheets and only teaches stuff when we ask him to do so; he does that as if he expects us to know everything without him teaching it to us.
He is a terrible teacher. He never explains anything. And on tests he gives of questions we have never lea rend before and he expects us to know.
I've found that Ito for sure plays a bit of a favorites game. I found that sometimes he could be very nice to me, at others... well, not as much. When I went to him for help I found it difficult for him to commit to a time, and then ended up just not even bothering to keep asking, and taught it myself. Overall, I could see how someone could like him, but I just really really didn't.
It seems that a lot of students who just don't like him give him horrible marks, well here's my honest opinion with no bias. If you consistantly do your homework and don't cause trouble (aka: Just being a student) your allright in his eyes. He smiles a lot and ALWAYS will help you anytime if you ask. I find that he could be more clear about the steps for solving problems, but will clarify if asked. Although I like the man he seems to be disliked by others, so I give him a "3" for popularity.
Mr. Ito can be slightly confusing for some. However, he always offers help if you ask for it. He can be fairly forgiving for marks. To be able to do well in his class you do have to do your homework. :) Overall he is a pretty good teacher!
not the biggest fan of the bito. in fact, farthest from fan as possible. he gets a negative score. that is all. (monotone. now that is all.)
Mr. Ito is actually a nice teacher. I have him for math, and I understand what he teaches. His tests are not hard.
not a good teacher. does not know what he's teaching half the time. physics was my lowest mark. don't e-mail him homework. his first lesson was so confusing. everyone in my class got a lower mark!!
