Great teacher. His notes and diagrams were flawless and I loved how he would make sure EVERY SINGLE MARK was erased off that board before he started writing. Completely willing to spend as much time with you after class as necessary. He had very good lesson plans written out for every day and his subtle science jokes and dry wit never failed to amuse me. I will always regret not going back to tell him how much he changed my life before he passed away. You will be missed, Mr. Hayes.
He was awesome i miss the guy! I think the best science teacher I've ever had Hope he comes back soon...
He's tough as nails, but you'll definitely learn the material. I took science as an undergraduate thereafter and am very glad to have had him as a teacher.
Really detailed diagrams, almost always hands tests back the next day, cracks jokes in a monotone voice that nobody catches. Basically copies the textbook on the board but you learn all the material.
Love this guy's beard. I love how he COMPLETELY wipes the board clean before class because most teachers don't. Quick marker, very comprehensive notes. Willing to help after class, which is great.
Great teacher. His notes are very clear and precise and marks tests very quicky, which is awesome. His jokes are really funny in a subtle way that most people wouldn't understand.
Boring class. He can't teach, then he gives tough tests. Nice guy, but just learn the course by reading the textbook.
Boring, droning lectures, and hard tests. His character is decent however, and he is actually a smart guy.
Mr Hayes is such a nice man. He is very caring and tries to be as helpful as possible. If you get to know him you'll know what i mean. Ive had him for two years now and he made my day everytime i went into his class. He's also really funny if you pay attension to what he says.
He is a terrible teacher. He's so monotone. He's pretty nice but he gives a lot of hard quizes and tests
Quite boring and monotone, he tends to ramble on and on. A nice teacher overall and a really fast marker though his tests can be difficult and he gives quizzes almost every other day. Tells these jokes that are cleverly disguised as...not jokes. Oh and his diagrams are amazingly perfect every time and if they're not, he erases them! Also has really nice handwriting...XD All in all not a bad teacher but I wouldn't want to have him again next year.
Not a bad teacher.. his class is somewhat boring but he's nice and sometimes funny. He gave A LOT of quizzes, which were hard but good to study from and I actually found his unit tests fairly easy. One good thing, he's a very fast marker. We usually got unit tests back the next day.
Contrary to what most people say, his tests can be hard, but I found them to be reasonably fair. It's just hard getting a good mark on his physics mutliple choice. He's actually quite friendly.
Possibly the most boring and monotonous teacher I have ever had. His tests are very hard. He has been teaching for too long and it's clearly boring him too. He's had his time and should retire.
He's a nice guy but he does not know how to teach. The notes he gave us were pretty useless because when you read them over hey make absolutly no sense.
A very good teacher-he has a lesson planned every day and tests/quizzes are marked right away. He has a fair marking scheme
Yes the bus story always good. Hes ok but when you ask him to clarify something he just says exactly the same thing he just said
People say he's boring but I think his jokes are really hilarious in a subtle way. Tests are killer but bell curve makes up for it. He's soooo nice though! And teaches great!!!
Pretty good teacher, knows what he is doing, sticks to a routines, hilarious jokes only the smart understand, if ur like me and can't handle physics , drop the course.
Overall, Mr. Hayes is a really cool guy and a great science teacher! Keep up the awesome work Mr. Hayes!
Good guy and very friendly, but has that monotonous voice that adds a little bit of boredom even to his hilarious jokes.
He has always been a great teacher, and more importantly, a great man. An HIH day from 96 was always the best.
the funniest teacher i've had. sure hes boring, but he can be hilarious and interesting
I think he's still teaching... (?) He was one of my favorite teachers!
he is really boring but a really nice guy - very organized in the way he teaches which is kind of nice - and he has a sense of humour - you'll see!
Extremely difficult tests. Be sure to read the textbook pages he assigns, otherwise, you'll fail his tests. He tries to be helpful if you ask him.
he's awesome, just you wait until you discover his sense of humor
he's boring, but physics is a pretty boring course to teach
