She is not an easy teacher. But she really helped me with English. If you have any issues or don't understand something, go talk to her. Sometimes, she will even look over a rough draft of an essay and give you little feedback. I think she marks fair. About the favourites thing - maybe it true but nobody's stopping you from going and talking to her. Just be friendly and make conversations with her before class, say "hi" to her in the hall, etc.
A mean spirted, elitist, snob. Absolutely plays favourites. Worst teacher I ever had.
Absolutely lovely person, incredibly enthusiastic, made even me love Shakespeare. Who knew? Really helped me to broaden my perspective. She was really warm and welcoming of all interpretations of anything.
a strong and insightful teacher, however the charge that she plays favourites is somewhat accurate.
Mrs. Billinghurst has favourites in each class - usually those that parrot her own restricted and insipid perspectives. She considers herself and many gifted students to be of a superior intellect, she is righteous, arrogant and highly partial to students with limited imagination and interpretation.
A great teacher with a good heart. Is passionate about her field of teaching, which is a big part of how she teaches it so well. Not a very hard marker.
Best english teacher around. Her love of literature is infectious, even to me, who already loves it.
Awesome and great in the Lit course. She marks kinda hard though, I usually get 90s, but in her class it was always 17/20. Very funny and personable.
A good teacher on the whole... the only problem is that she's too conservative, and will mostly only accept her own view points, but a good teacher nonetheless
I love her man,my no english and I didn't even read my books for my OAC isp and she gave me like high 80s man
She's the kind of teacher you can be friends with. Thumbs up!
all v english teachers are cool and understanding so far
