Mr assadi is a math genius, teaches very old school, and is a great teacher. He gives a solid lesson that is very clear and short and then you can do your work or go on your phone but homework must be done by the next class. He isn't sympathetic in anyway. You must be prepared and no excuses. He taught me a lot and I really liked having him but if you are a slower learner drop out.

Very knowledgeable when it comes to math, but very old school teacher. If you want a good grade, you need to pay attention in class and do the homework. If you want help from him, you need to ask, and prove you've been paying attention.
He picks on students who complain about bad grades but give all of 0% to the class. Don't be one of them, cause he can be super harsh.

He's strict. He's old school. But the guy can simplify even the hardest math problems for just about anybody. We need more no nonsense math teachers like him and not women who try and teach math with blocks and puzzles.

Yes, sometimes he can be a bit harsh. If you do not plan on going into courses with heavy math load he is not a great teacher for you. However, if you plan on going into engineering or other math-intensive courses he offers a different mindset or approach that is not typically taught in this area. This can be extremely helpful since if you have trouble solving a problem the 'common' way, try solving it the 'Assadi' way. Try hard + do all homework = good grade, even on pop quizzes (which suck).

He's a great teacher because I can play with my phone all the time and not listening to him. I spent 99.9% of his class time playing my phone for a whole year. Most of the time I'll need a charger for it. Also, I enjoy playing chess with my friends at class time. His tests are super easy, I hardly spent any time studying AP calculus at home and I still get a 95%. It's one of the best teacher I've ever met.

Very good math teacher, knows exactly what he's talking about, and is quite humorous. Disregard the rumors about how he isn't a good teacher. Go to his class and pay attention, do the homework and you will be rewarded. This guy really prepared me for university.

At the beginning of the year, he told students he was not going outside of class time to help students (so he wouldn't do lunch time/after school tutorials). He yells at a student for something but if another student does the same thing he'll let it go. He does not spend much time enforcing theories/new concepts. Gives quizzes one class after teaching a new idea. He picks favourites. It is hard to get on his good side. He has EXTREMELY high expectations. SWITCH IF YOU EVER END UP GETTING HIM!
