Chemistry is a hard subject, but Ms. T is the most helpful, caring teach I have had. You need to put in the work, but she is there to help whenever you need clarification or advice. She wants to see you succeed. Prepares you well for university.
I sat in the front of class, I listened to what my chemistry teacher had to say. Until this day, I use the ICE method for equilibrium tests. Her notes provides students with an ability to be able to use them as tools for practical chemistry. The lab techniques learned in grade 12 helps students to be able to do great work at the university level.
I had her for Gifted Gr.12 Chemistry, and she's a nice lady! But prospective students, you're going to be mostly on your own; don't complain. If you are really smart, you're going to get it, otherwise this course will need a lot of time and work. Don't expect much help or too much clarity from her. She does everything to standard, but not a bit more. You will either like her style or you won't. If you are not confident in Chemistry, think twice here.
Haven't had her as a teacher but she was my volleyball coach for Bell. So far she has shown great dedication to the team. She has been constantly by your side directing you when you get confused with a new rotation and such. She pushed me and my teammates to do our very best. We have won our first two tournaments and our first game. The season has only just started. WTG Bell! :)
She's a nice enough person but not a great teacher. Absent from class a lot and sometimes before tests so you can't get any straight explanation.Doesn't treat students who participate in sports fairly
Can't wait for her class to be over with. Tests and marking are ridiculous and random. She doesn't really care and shows favouritism to certain students. Not a great teacher IMO
She is never in the classroom, never wants to clarify things, never helps. She goes to quick with lessons, and gives way to much homework. overall not a good teacher,
A very difficult marker, and moves through the material at a much faster pace compared to other teachers. Although she may be a hard teacher, she tries to give her students opportunities to do better, and is a nice person overall.
Ms. T made me love chemistry. She's kind and always willing to help... that is if you can find her. She's great teacher and easy to understand.
She's never in the classroom so it's kind of hard to ask questions. And even when she is, she's always 'busy' and unwilling to clarify things. She's also very inconsistent with her marking and it's hard to tell where and why your marks are being docked.
worst marker. ever. also sees from only her own perspective.
I could do with her lessons much more than with her marking scheme. Seriously, what kind of teacher takes off whole points for mistakes they made themselves? She doesn't really make clear what her expectations are for any particular assignment, and then penalizes her students for not being able to read her mind and then mixing up minor formatting specifications. It's practically impossible to score perfectly on her tests, because believe me, she'll find some misplaced semicolon and dock marks.
She's a great teacher, and the only reason you could get on her bad side is if you don't actually try in her class and make it obvious. Put in some effort, and you'll be fine. She was great because sh
such a sweetie. get on her good side, and she'll help you. she's always there to explain things to you but at some times it doesn't make much sense. her tests and quizzes are difficultish, but okay.
She's awesome! Always ready to help and review anything unclear. I did really well in her course and am hoping to get her again next year
She was sweet, but our class had trouble understanding anything, and then she left on maternity leave...AGAIN.
She's an amazing teacher. She helps anyone in need and explains things thoroughly if anything is unclear.
best teacher I have ever had. she pushes me to do better than I ever thought I could, and it is paying off...thanks teach!!!
she's such a sweet lady and she's always pushing me to do better. i really like her but sometimes her notes are a little hard to understand, but she's so nice
I realize it's a hard course to teach, but not every lesson needs to be an overhead of paraphrased text notes.
I thought she was nice. Better than my last chem teacher for sure, but not the best either.
I am feeling the pain for your incapacity to teach chemistry now that I'm in university.
I have had several better teachers, mainly because other teachers actually taught the course.
