I have known Ms. Nick for sometime. She has taught me more than she'll ever know. It was because of her teaching and passion for life that I became inspired to become a teacher. She has always had an open door policy and that is why kids feel so comfortable talking to her...they know she will actually help. To those who previously commented...You're IDIOTS! Ms. Nick epitomizes what it means to be a professional...she doesn't even drink, never attends bars or has students to her home.

WOW. whoever commented below read MY MIND! I never had her a teacher but I remember my friends going to her house some nights, seeing her at the bar, calling her etc etc.. I get being a young teacher in a small town but there IS a point of no return.

I think that this teacher becomes too close to her students. She discusses her personal business among the students. She is not professional at all.
