Andras Molnar was the best teacher I ever had. I have since left St. Rob's and I will never forget how much he helped me grow both as a musician and on a personal level. He made a real difference in my life!
Yes, he was strict about uniforms but he was just doing his job. As long as you practice (like you should) and respect him, he'll respect you back. He made some bad jokes, but actually is a nice guy.
Enforces uniform rules that don't exist. He made me wear black socks to a concert. White socks aren't allowed. Needs to learn to mind his own business and stop troubling students. Glad he's gone.
OMG Hes retiring...ill give him a 2 in one category but i still regret being in his class for gr 9...what a wasteee
brags too much, cares too much about uniform but is okay otherwise
he's actually prety nice because when i say hi to him he bows, smiles and says hi back. He doesn't seem that mean either so stop picking on him. He's just strict...
He gave me good marks even though i think i failed my mid term. I failed it and when i saw my mark it was a 90%. I was like okay. If you treat him with respect he will return the favor.
I recommend that you stick with an instrument you know; because he doesn't care if you can't play, you still have to play all the tough stuff and he will mark you very hard. Sarcastic and rude.
Uses his arrogant examples of 51 CD's to compare us, overexpecting, Doesn't really teach you anything, but very funny and nice(when ur good),NEVER TAKE BRASS INSTRUMENTS they're so challenging.
thts ok folks.. once u get to gr12... he couldn't careless..
he's always yelling at us because we arent perfect and he cant see that we are getting better every class! he always brags how he has "his name of 42 CD's" well, then, why are you working as a teacher TEACHING US because OBVIOUSLY
"Were is ur uniform" , "go to the office" wow its not like you are gettin commission for every uniform infraction u catch calm down (alot)
he can NOT teach, and he expects you to say GOOD MORNING to him. He brags a LOT and i dont even think hes that good. his sound quality is very 'stuffy' in some sense. If you have a white shirt hanging under ur uniform, he would get angry.
i just think it's unfair how he picks on certain people. in particular the ones that dropped music. (me)
well i've been in molnar's class for 3 yrs now...in ma 4th, i had mr P..honestli...GO MOLNAR. it mite seem lyke mr P is better...but hontestli...molnar rocks when it comes down to both..a sweet regret
He Isn't a bad person, but he isn't a great teacher. actually. he's pretty much a horrible teacher. but sometimes he's a nice guy. that's a BIG sometimes.
Firts you come into class with no sweater, he makes you get it then you come back the bell JUST rings and he say YOUR LATE GET ME A NOTE.....not fair
...Don't hate him, don't love him, sometimes I like him, sometimes he's talking to much... I don't think he'z a horrible teacher though...
Was a good music teacher. I had him for 3 out of 4 years. I learned a lot from him. If you don't practice or treat him with ne respect, thats what you will get back! Just practice!
i dun tihnk he's that bad~ just strickt, and strict isn't bad
C'mon. Appreciate the fact that u got an experienced teacher. Do well and you'll be fine. He's a great guy. Don't hate him for following the rules.
just needs to appreciate people more than he appreciates himself.
he doesnt teach me n e thing! just tells ppl to practise! i cant even play my trumpet properly n i practise so much! he doesnt even teach me how to play!
he's an alright guy. it's hella better than religion class
he replaced one of the best music teachers at st elizabeth. and the music program there went downhill! horrible, horrible, horrible! the man can't teach.
Marks do not reflect your how much you practice or how good you are.. but just DOES MOLIE LIKE YOU? After 3 years, he still couldn't remember my name.
he's got good intentions, and i have to admit that we do sound better when he pushes us, but man, lighten up. we can't all be professionals.
with his hawkish attitude but excellent debating skills towards his students he should be a lawyer especially a prosecutor instead of a teacher!!!
BAZMEG!!!! tell this to him guys- or: me-of-us-one. anyway, terrible teacher. probably good intentions somewhere but i quit music because of him.
i HEARD lota people quit music cuz of him.. but didn't see THAT bad at practices
why does he teach if he hates students & enjoys performing so much more?
He is a bad teacher! He has favourites (worse people in class). Very mean!
he's a pro trumpet player...we're lucky to have him in this school
Molnar's quote of the month, IT IS MATTER ----shows you something, eh?
Keeps bragging about himself! NON-STOP! hello! who cares??
