TAKE THIS CLASS! Had him for Struggles of Ideas in Modern Drama, such a fun class because their were debates so everyone got to talk and have fun with each other. Tests were open book (but you have to do the highlighting), three essays that are FILL IN THE BLANK, and three quotes tests from movies you watch. I think like half the class finished with 100 lol. The content is weird but interesting. Super chill class definitely recommend for humanities and I'm for sure taking him again!

Had him for struggles of ideas in modern drama, got 100%. seriously take him, but you have to be willing to put in the effort, class consists of three section each section consists of 1 movie, 2 tests (open book, and quotes from the movie), contest(bonus marks), strategy and 2 debates. For the debates, as long as you raise your hand and say something you'll get a 100, no matter if its terrible. This guy is clutch, especially for science students. also he gives a 4% bonus at the end.

I thought a debate class was a terrible idea but tbh, it wasn't that bad since he limits how much we talk and you will get enough knowledge before them. The amount of work is decent (1 movie = two test, paper position, contest, 2 debates and there is three movie) and you can predict when everything is coming.

Very easy and fun class. Sociology tests and quote tests can be annoying but other than that you can get 100% in everything else and there are bonus marks. Also a fun class, 3 cycles consisting of of watching movies, doing tests, working on essay, and doing debate.

You don't learn much from this class and the topic is rather boring. It is easy to get a very good grade though. BTW, the answers to some of the test questions aren't always on the pages he wrote so you'll have to look around a little. He also doesn't use MIO. You have to call him at his house to get help which is really awkward. I only recommend this class if you want an easy class but, you are fine with being very bored during it.

His class may very well be the easiest at Abbott. I had him for struggles of ideas in modern drama. The class is basically divided up into 3 sections where you do the work, but with a different movie. At first his "style" may take some getting used to and yes the class can be quite slow. but just showing up guarantees you a 70, no joke you get a 100 on debates just for showing up and his papers are fill in the blank. Honestly, he is actually a pretty good guy who cares about his students.

Appears to be knowledgable (as he knows a bit of everything) and wants to give an interesting class, but he fails. He will often include his personal opinion about things during explanations. He is awkward. He will suddenly ask students about how long they haver sex for, or talk about the purpose of breast being to attract mates... to prove his opinion. Gives you "fill in the blank essays" and gives points for raising your hand even if you end up spilling nonsense. Guaranteed 100%. I got 105%...
